Sadly, a member of Rockville Metro has passed away. Marianne J passed away on Nov. 23, 2006. A memorial service was held on Dec 3rd.

New Meeting @ ROCKVILLE METRO on Sat. nite's @ 8:30 on ACCEPTANCE

Rockville Metro Club has lost one of its finest this week. John S. passed away on Jan. 23, 2006. A memoriam was held at the Club for him on Sunday, January 28.

Daniel Snoddy was killed on the railroad tracks in Gaithersburg just a few days after two PRC guys on their way to a Metro Cub meeting were killed on the tracks at the bottom of Washington Avenue.
Al R., Daniel's step-father, is a "regular" at Metro; Daniel, who worked for Al, attended a few meetings with Al.
The family requests that donations be made to XYZ Services, Inc., a private, nonprofit, charitable, tax-exempt organization that provides last-resort housing and other services to men and women in recovery. Donations can be mailed to XYZ Services, 11704 Judy Place, Potomac, MD 20854.

• A friendly reminder... If you owe membership dues, now would be a great time to get caught up. If you're not a member, please join now & help keep the doors open. Talk to the secretary at any meeting.

• Rockville Metro Club Board of Directors' meetings are held on the last Sunday of the month following the 11:00 a.m. meeting. All club members are welcome to sit in.

• We would like to remind meeting participants that we appreciate cell phones and pagers being turned off during meetings. We would also remind participants that a "no pets on Club Property" rule has been adopted by the Board for safety and insurance reasons.

• Please take a few minutes of your time before & after meetings to help with coffee-making, setup, and cleanup. It will be greatly appreciated.
